EARTHQUAKE OMFG. And Features. ;DPosted on 29 July 2008 at 8:35 PM         Totally bitchin' people. F'sho. I'd bang 'em. You should too.
So like... before I get to the main point of this blog entry, I have to remark that there was this 5-point-something magnitude earthquake that happened earlier in the day. And I nearly shit my pants.
 I was in my living room, just about to leave for work, and i was talking to my mom. Suddenly, I felt the floor shake, and I thought to myself "Oh it's nothing, just those occasional small tremors." But it didn't die down. It just got harder. And everything around me started shaking and things were crashing to the floor, and I almost freaked. But it as over after like 5-10 seconds. :0 The nearby community college got closed down because of it, and yeah.I dunno, it's not that bad when you think about it, but in all my years living in California, we never really had this big of an earthquake recently. It was pretty much all over the news. Moving on to more important topics I'm gonna start doing features every two weeks or so, just to get some art out there. I'll try to feature art that needs more attention (i.e. lacking in deserving faves/comments), and I'll try not to feature too much fanart. I'm a lover of original art, so my features will focus more on those than anything.  Something about this artwork is very striking. The way it's coloured is well done. I just can't keep my eyes off it. T U T  One word: breathtaking. The expression on his face is beautiful and haunting.  I just loved the colours used in this one. It's so adorable, I couldn't help but want to squish both the boy and the sheep. * 3 * If you guyss have any suggestions for featured art, PM me. I'd be glad to take a look. :] P.S. I FELT THAT ONE XD i was with my sis and friend and we were in my room. I saw my windows almost come off. And my fish tank almost fell but fornuately nothing made out of glass fell.

haha. I was at school on the 2nd floor when it happened. XD They were sayin'that the last big earthquake was in like...94.

....which is probably why we live in North-East America, where everything is dull, boring, and cold, with no tremors and the most exiting things we get are blizzards and thunderstorms.

Yuppers, I felt it too xDD I know, it was like blasting on ever news channel!
 But it was shocking, I haven't really expected any big earthquakes since the Northridge one nearby here but the latest one was not too much smaller than that one! Stupid global warming making extreme weather =3=;; So did anything break or get knocked over in your house?? I had two things fall out of a ton of glass things my mom has xD But surprisingly they didn't brake.

Yeahhh A lot of stuff broke in my house, because we have a bunch of vases and picture frames on our fireplace mantle. So most of those fell and broke.
And my Jack Skellington bobblehead broke, but not too severely. XD
